Globe and Mail covers ICFC’s Protecting Our Planet Challenge pledge

November 8, 2021-- The Globe and Mail's science reporter Ivan Semeniuk did an excellent new story on ICFC's Protecting Our Planet Challenge pledge, adding background and context.  ICFC has pledged $100 million for biodiversity aid over the next ten years.

For the story, he interviewed executive director Molly Bartlett, Barb Zimmernan, and Cristian Samper, president and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society, which was involved in the development and launch of the Protecting Our Planet Challenge.  The Challenge represents the largest-ever private funding commitment—over $5 billion aimed at tackling Earth’s climate and extinction crises.
