How much room for nature?

August 26, 2015 — Famed Harvard biologist E.O. Wilson calls for setting aside half the world for nature, and cites Area de Conservacion Guanacaste (which ICFC supports) in Costa Rica as an model for integrating local people into protected areas as environmental educators, managers and rangers. Others have independently put forward the same idea, notably WILD Foundation, with its "Nature Needs Half"campaign.
